Grande Real Santa Eulalia Resort & Hotel Spa

A classy hotel in a good location close to the beach. Very professional staff. Great sea view.

We had originally planned to stay for 5 days but loved it so much that we extended our trip by two days. We spent five days in the hotel and two in the apartments. Both were great and kept very clean. We also had a free room upgrade from a studio to a one bed apartment which was nice and spacious. The staff in all areas of the resort are fantastic- always friendly and helpful. From reception, to the spa, the restaurants and the guys working the beach - could not fault any of them. The variety of restaurants at the hotel was really nice and the views while eating, whether during the day or night, were unmatched. At breakfast there was a great variety of foods available to suit everyone’s taste. There can be a queue at certain times but it moves quite quickly. Having access to a private beach was one of my favourite things about this resort. It was a short 2 minute walk from the hotel which was very convenient. The beach itself was clean and had plenty of sun loungers for rent.

A large hotel resort in a beautiful location by the sea. I stayed in one of the studio villas and had breakfast at the hotel. Although the resort is close to Albufeira and a busy street, it has a quiet and laid back vibe. Enjoyed the views from the balcony, the morning walk to the hotel and the views from the breakfast table. The beautiful Santa Eulalia beach can be accessed from the hotel. There is no large swimming pool like some other Algarve resorts have, but then again with a direct access to the beach you do not really need it. Since this was my first time visiting Algarve I used this hotel as a base to visit places like Sagres, Tavira and Villamora. There are bus connections, but with a hire car you can see more places. The hotel is perhaps more 4 than 5 star, but it was nice that it was not too posh and had a laid back feel to it. Overall, it was great value for money and an excellent location. I would be happy to stay there again.

I liked the hotel facilities, very nice. I had an apartment with 2 bedrooms for 4 friends and I slept in the living room on a bed. 2 nice bathrooms too. Balcony. Kitchenette with hob, coffee machine, kettle, cutlery, pans, crockery etc. Also had shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion in the bathrooms. Swimming pools great especially the main one. Bar selling delicious snacks, drinks and ice creams, coffee. Always well stocked up. The spa looked great and gym basic but lots of equipment. Staff were very nice too. All in all I had a wonderful time here and looking forward to going back next year.

Property is really good, we are with two kids and family. So we had all whatever you want inside the campus. It has it's own beach and trail to walk in the morning. Car parking is also free. Rest all is good
